Horseback Archery at GERL Rescue Challenge!

The Georgia Horse Archers will be hanging out in Athens, GA for the GERL Rescue Challenge on September 24th!
Stop by our table for photo ops, and info on how to get started with mounted archery. We’re excited to be promoting our upcoming event – the 1st Annual Georgia International Horseback Archery Competition at the GA Horse Park on November 4-6th!
ABOUT THE RESCUE CHALLENGE:
The Georgia Equine Rescue League is very excited to be holding our GERL Rescue Challenge again this year to help Georgia horses in need. We are soliciting Top Georgia Trainers to compete with GERL Rescue Horses for the title of GERL Rescue Challenge Top Trainer for 2016. Each trainer will be assigned, a GERL Rescue Horse which has been carefully handicapped as to its level of training. The trainers will have 120 days to work with that horse. Then on September 24, 2016 the trainers will bring their horse to the UGA Livestock arena located at 2598 S. Milledge Ave, Athens, GA 30605. Both youth and adults will be competing for the top prize. Funds raised from this event will go back into the GERL program to rescue and rehabilitate horses that have been starved, abused, or abandoned.
